… sharing knowledge in the field (scientific, legal,…) and offering networking opportunities (including setup and participation to clinical trials or registries).
Besides promoting information, communication and collaboration between the members, the group has also an educational aim. The working group organizes an annual symposium (usually in March), the « Belgian Thoracic Oncology Symposium », made of workshops and a plenary session related to hot topics.
The members participate also in the thoracic oncology session which is scheduled during the annual BeRS congress « Belgian Pneumology Days ».
