… sharing knowledge in the field (scientific, legal, etc.) and providing networking opportunities (including the organisation of and participation in clinical trials or registries).
As well as promoting information, communication and collaboration amongst its members, the group also has an educational objective. The working group organises an annual symposium (usually in March), the ‘Belgian Thoracic Oncology Symposium’, comprising workshops and a plenary session on current topics.
The members also take part in the thoracic oncology session, which is held during the annual BeRS congress, ‘Belgian Pneumology Days’.
