AstraZeneca

For many years, we have been actively supporting BeRS by contributing towards its operating costs and its various activities, as we are convinced that this is a vital investment for the future.

On the one hand, by covering operational costs, we help to ensure the BeRS’s long-term viability. This enables optimal management, which is essential for its development, its ability to adapt to its members’ needs, and the long-term success of its projects. This investment is also key to fostering the ongoing development of the respiratory sector.

Furthermore, supporting the BeRS’s activities is essential for advancing respiratory care and research in Belgium. Respiratory diseases are a major cause of morbidity and mortality, making interdisciplinary collaboration essential to improve treatments and patient outcomes.

By supporting BeRS, we are playing an active part in reducing the burden of chronic respiratory diseases and improving prevention, early diagnosis and treatment, whilst helping to raise public awareness of the importance of respiratory health.
This collective commitment not only benefits those affected by these conditions, but also strengthens the overall healthcare system in Belgium, thereby helping to build a healthier future for everyone.

BSAR REGISTER

Why do we support the ‘Belgian Severe Asthma Registry’?
A registry of this kind enables the collection of valuable data on patients with severe asthma, which helps to improve our understanding of the progression of the disease, its risk factors and the effectiveness of treatments. This information can be used to improve clinical practice, guide treatment decisions and refine strategies for managing the condition.
We are convinced that maintaining a severe asthma registry is a fundamental tool for improving the management of the condition, supporting research and refining public health policies, whilst ensuring high-quality care for patients.
