WORKING GROUPS

The BeRS’s 14 working groups bring together experts from various fields relating to respiratory diseases.

Each group operates autonomously and independently, led by a ‘Chair’ and a ‘Secretary’, with active members and a direct link to the BeRS Board of Directors. Through close collaboration, the members of the working groups actively contribute to the development of the scientific and educational programmes for all initiatives proposed by the BeRS.

They also regularly monitor major developments such as new classification systems or changes to guidelines, new recommendations, recent publications or new medicines that have become available.

This work is carried out within their respective areas of expertise, in collaboration with key stakeholders in the respiratory sector, such as the INAMI, the political sphere and the media. They also collaborate actively with BeRS’s partners, notably patient organisations, other organisations active in the respiratory sector (such as FARES or APB), as well as our partners in the pharmaceutical industry.
